A political thriller based on a true story. Set against the backdrop of the Egyptian Revolution, the thriller features a police officer who investigates the murder of a famous club singer. A maid witnesses the murder at an upscale hotel and a policeman is assigned to the case, but it soon becomes clear that important people don't want the case solved. What initially seems to be a killing of a prostitute turns into a more complicated case involving the very elite of Egypt. Upon realizing this, the policeman decides to break the rules in order to obtain justice, colliding not only with the system but also with himself.
